the print on this dress is inspired by the trash you find anywhere people have access to waterways...water bottles half full of sand at the beach, broken, eroded bottles you find worn down to smooth stones in an old creek, crushed cans of beer at the edge of a lake...throw your trash away people! we can't recycle on behalf of the whole world, but we did at least remix this issue in dress form, using a bright acid Trash Queen green as the base and placing the delicate spidery linework of refuse on top for something that is truly unique, and a little gross. our specialty!
this smock dress is made from a thick, stretchy polyester spandex fabric that is breathable but has a good weight to it, allowing it to easily transition between seasons.
the dress itself features a slight scoop neckline, quarter length sleeves, and hits slightly above most people's natural waist for a cute baby doll look. the skirt is gathered given an almost pleated effect. there are darts at the bust to improve the fit, and the skirt hits slightly above the knee of most wearers.
Wash inside out, in cold water, on a delicate setting or by hand.
we recommend washing this turned inside out, in cold water, on a delicate setting, to preserve the color and fabric quality.
Hang to dry.
hanging your piece to dry will help it maintain its size and shape, and it will add years onto its durability.
