this velvet halter dress was inspired by 60s mod clothing and psychedelic marbled paper prints. we thought, combined with these swirling prints, the shape imitated a lava lamp, and so we named it accordingly!
the lava lamp dress is made from a soft, velvety polyester-spandex stretch knit that wears similar to stretch velvet.
the dress itself features a reinforced mock neckline with a halter cut, no sleeves, and a slight triangle shift shape. pearlescent buttons close the collar in the back and there is a small keyhole detail right below the closure.
